Carbon Fiber Yachts
Advanced composite materials in marine applications require specialized non-destructive testing methods.
In a carbon-fiber hull, ply delamination never shows on the outside — which is why inspection combines ultrasound, thermography and eddy currents, adapted to the nature of the composite.

Applications
- Ultrasonic testing and/or infrared thermography — detects delamination in composite structures
- Eddy current testing — electromagnetic method for crack detection
